Job Title: Staff Nurse
Location: Thirunagar, Madurai

Reports To: Doctor / Clinic Manager
Job Summary:
A Staff Nurse in a clinic is responsible for providing basic patient care, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist doctors during patient examination and minor procedures
• Check and record patient vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, oxygen level)
• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed by the doctor
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and treatment rooms
• Maintain patient records and reports accurately
• Provide basic wound care, dressing, and first aid
• Educate patients about medication, diet, and follow-up care
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the clinic
• Coordinate with lab technicians and pharmacy when required
• Handle emergency situations and provide immediate nursing care
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in GNM / B.Sc Nursing
• Valid Nursing Council Registration
• Basic knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care
Skills Required:
• Good communication and patient handling skills
• Basic computer knowledge for patient records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene practices
